Teri Padgett

Exceptional Children's Coordinator/Teacher

Teri earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University. She has her Masters degree in behavior disorders and learning disabilities from West Virginia University. She earned her administrative licensure from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Teri started teaching in 1992 in Wake County Public Schools in a self-contained behavior disordered classroom. Later, she served many roles as coordinating teacher, consultant for an alternative high school, worked on intervention services at central offices, and was an assistant principal until she made the move to join the Delany team! She is excited about going back to a small environment to provide more individualized attention to support students in their areas of need. Teri fosters dogs for Australian Shepards Forever. She loves doing arts and crafts-painting, resin, and even does pet memorials. She crochets prayer shaw and loves to stay healthy!
