SPRING BREAK April 14-21st!

Lunch at FDNSC

We are excited to continue our partnership with Each One, Teach One Through Food, a local non-profit organization dedicated to nourishing our community through entrepreneurship and culinary empowerment while alleviating hunger and fostering community well-being. Their kitchen will be providing our school with made-from-scratch meals every day each week. These lunches will be delicious, nutritious, and kid-friendly.

Starting in February 2025, you can now submit your lunch orders online using this form! This order form and the menus below will be updated monthly.

If your student would like to receive these meals, you must submit the order by the Monday before the week you want meals. You may submit an order for the day, week, or month. For example, if you want to order for the week of February 3rd, you must order by January 27th. If your student does not receive free/reduced lunch, you will need to pay $5 per meal, via cash, check, or Venmo (@FDelany).

We will continue to offer Papa John’s cheese and pepperoni pizza on Friday for $2.00/slice.

Here’s to a great year of healthy and accessible food options!

HOW DO I KNOW WHETHER MY STUDENT QUALIFIES FOR FREE SCHOOL LUNCH?

Complete the Free and Reduced Price School Meals Household Application and return it to our front office. The Household Application and more information about free and reduced meals at FDNSC can be found here.

If your student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, a meal can be provided at no cost. Please let us know if you would like a paper version of the application.

WHAT IF I HAVE QUESTIONS?

Please email kaitlin@fdnsc.net with any questions! You can also find information on North Carolina’s free & reduced meal eligibility requirements here.
