Francine Delany New School for Children begins the enrollment process each January for the following school year. Any parent/guardian wishing to enroll a student at Francine Delany is highly encouraged to learn about our philosophy, governance, and expectations for parents, students, and teachers.
How to Apply
Starting in January 2024, families can receive an application for the 24-25 school year by clicking the link below or stopping by the school to fill out an application. The application deadline for the lottery is March 31, 2024. The new student lottery will be held on April 12th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
The lottery determines the order in which students will be enrolled for each grade level or placed on the waiting list if space is not available. Applications received after the lottery will be placed on the waiting list in the order they are received. Each year class sizes varies between 20-22. Other space in the school is determined by slots opened up by students transferring to another school.
Please note that you must live in North Carolina at the time of completing your application unless you are in the military and will be transferring to NC and have a transfer letter.
