Sue McCutcheon

Exceptional Children's Teacher

Sue has lived in the Asheville area for 4 years.  She relocated here from the Charlotte, NC area where she taught elementary special education at a charter school for 16 years.   Additionally, she served as a founding board member with the charter school, as well as a local preschool board. She received a B.S from the University of Delaware and has taught Kindergarten, 1-2 multiage and Special Needs Preschool, in addition to Elementary Exceptional Children.  

She has lived in NC for 28 years with her husband and family.  She is a lifelong learner and enjoys walking, hiking, reading, baking, crafting, socializing, traveling, cuddling with her kitties and loves a good board game.  

Fun fact:  Sue participated in a Fulbright Teacher Exchange to Nottingham, England where she lived and taught at a primary school for one year.   She even met the Sheriff of Nottingham!
