Sam Rardin

Exceptional Children's Teacher

Sam is an Asheville native who first joined the Francine Delany community as a kindergarten student in the fall of 1998. He began his teaching experience with the school in 2015 as an assistant in both the middle school and third grade. Sam is currently in the process of pursuing his Master’s in Special Education from the UNC-Charlotte CATO School of Education. Prior to teaching, Sam worked on the coaching staff for the UNC Asheville Men’s Basketball team for three seasons. In his spare time Sam enjoys running, baking, playing tennis, and watching whatever basketball he can find on TV. “My experience as a student at Francine Delany is something that I have carried with me, and drawn upon throughout my life, and it is exciting to be a part of the experience for new students who come through the school.”
