Sam Rardin
Exceptional Children's Teacher
Sam is an Asheville native who first joined the Francine Delany community as a kindergarten student in the fall of 1998, a year into the school’s existence. Sam graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in exercise and sports science and began his career working in college athletics. He has since gone back to school to earn his teaching license through UNC Charlotte’s Graduate Certificate Program. Sam began his teaching experience with the school in 2015 as an assistant in both the middle school and third grade. In 2020, Sam joined the directorate as a full-time Exceptional Children’s teacher. In his spare time Sam enjoys cooking, running, and rooting for Carolina Basketball with his family. “My experience as a student at Francine Delany is such an asset that I have carried with me, and drawn upon throughout my life, and it is exciting to be a part of the experience for new students who come through the school.
