Kerry Enloe

Exceptional Children's Teacher

Kerry grew up in Armonk, New York, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Purchase. After college, she built boats, restored canoes, and painted decorative interiors. Boatbuilding math was critical for creating elegant, functional, and watertight boats. When Kerry decided to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching from Western Carolina University, she chose to study Middle Grades Math with the hope of making math more accessible and realistic.

Kerry has taught most subjects at Asheville High as an Exceptional Children’s teacher. She is excited to return to working with elementary and middle grades at Francine Delany. One of Kerry’s core beliefs is that building relationships with students and their families is key to providing students with a firm foundation and confidence to succeed.

Outside of school, Kerry and her husband Jim share their Hendersonville home with a cat and two dogs, are avid gardeners and plant people, enjoy baseball, books, and time outdoors.
