David San Juan

Kindergarten Teacher

David is a National Board Certified Teacher with an MA in Educational Psychology. He has been an elementary school teacher and administrator for over 20 years in both public and private schools in the United States and various overseas locations including Spain, India, Egypt, Gaza, and Thailand. David enjoys music, writing, and creating innovative educational resources for students and teachers. He will complete his doctorate in Educational Studies with an emphasis in innovation and reform in December 2023. Specializing in literacy and early learning, David previously taught kindergarten for seven years at Leicester Elementary and was also director of a Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood center. He has worked with all grades and ages from preschool to adult, but has always wanted to return to the kindergarten classroom. David has been recognized for his teaching and educational contributions over his career with multiple school and community awards, and is excited to become a part of the FDNSC teaching team and school community.
