Britney Ross

Curriculum Coordinator

Britney accepted her first teaching job, as a kindergarten interim teacher at Weaverville Primary School, in April 2010. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in May 2010 from Western Carolina University. There were no permanent positions at Weaverville Primary, so this led Britney to Candler Elementary where she stayed until accepting her position at FDNSC in 2013. Britney has taught both first and second grades and served on several committees. She received her master’s degree in Comprehensive Education with a focus in STEM Education in May 2020 from Western Carolina University. Since August 2021, Britney has served as our Curriculum Coordinator. Britney loves spending time with her family, a good themed event, and doing outdoor activities. She loves the FDNSC community and being part of it.
