Brian Pesci

5th-6th Grade Math & Science Teacher

Brian received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in elementary education from Western Carolina University. Brian moved to Western North Carolina in 1999 from Northern Virginia. He has always been interested in sports and played football at Western Carolina University. His love of sports has carried over to founding the Hospitality Sports League, which emphasizes sportsmanship, for Francine Delany New School and six other local charter and private schools in the Asheville area. He began teaching fourth grade at Francine Delany in 2004. He now teaches 5th-8th grade math. Brian loves living in Asheville and continues his interest in sports and fitness by running in marathons, biking, playing basketball, and participating in other sporting activities.
