We are excited to announce that we are continuing our partnership with Each One Teach One this year, a local non-profit organization dedicated to nourishing our community through entrepreneurship and culinary empowerment while alleviating hunger and fostering community well-being. Their kitchen will be providing our school with made-from-scratch meals every day each week. These delicious, nutritious, and kid-friendly lunches will be $5.25 each. We will continue to offer Papa John’s pizza (cheese and pepperoni) on Fridays for $2.00/slice. Please pay via cash, check, or Venmo (@FDelany — add 2% for fees).
If you would like to purchase these meals for your student’s lunch, please submit their order by 10:00 AM Monday before the week you want meals. For example, if you want to order for September 2-5, you must order by August 25. You may order for the day, week, or month, but orders must be placed at least by the week before. Please let us know if you need a paper order form.
Francine Delany New School for Children wants every child to be able to attend school and receive food regardless of their household’s financial circumstances. We do not want the cost of lunch being a barrier for any of our students. If your student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, a meal will be provided at no cost, but you must complete the 2025-2026 FDNSC Free & Reduced-Price School Meals Household Application and let us know that you’d like your student to receive school lunch. We allow each family to decide whether the lunches are accepted or not.
You can find more detailed information below. Please email Kaitlin (kaitlin@fdnsc.net) with any questions – here’s to a great year of healthy and accessible food options!
