Tyrone Greenlee

Mentor

Tyrone is very proud to have been associated with Francine Delany New School since the school’s opening in the fall of 1997.  He works as the Outreach Coordinator for the school and handles press and media releases for school events.  Tyrone also oversees the Peer Mediation and Mentoring Programs as well as providing mediation services for the school.   In addition, Tyrone is the staff liaison for the PTO, recruits school volunteers, and coordinates All School Celebrations.  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and worked for many years as a staff person at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.  Tyrone also does dismantling racism work in the community and pursues his love of music through singing in his church choir and with a local band.
