Brandon Hudson

Behavioral Interventionist

Brandon has been living in the Asheville area since 2000, and currently resides in Black Mountain, NC. She enjoys being outside in nature, hiking, practicing yoga, listening to music, reading, traveling, and paddle boarding. She has been able to connect with children even at a young age. Brandon provides clear and consistent boundaries for children to learn and grow. She honors their space and allows the freedom to express themselves.

Brandon holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Western Carolina University, a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and several yoga certifications, including children’s yoga and meditation.  In addition, she has 20+ years’ experience working with children and children with special needs across a wide variety of environments. Brandon began teaching for the Asheville City School System in 2005 as a classroom assistant, and then Buncombe County in 2008 as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher in the elementary schools. In 2014, she changed her career path and became a self-employed Children’s Yoga Teacher working for different yoga studios and after-school programs in the Asheville area. In 2021, she began working at Evergreen Community Charter School in the after-school program and summer camp.

Brandon is very excited to join the Francine Delany team this 2026-2027 school year as the Behavior Interventionist. She hopes to bring her knowledge and love of teaching children to her new role.
