Buffy Fowler

Operations Coordinator

Buffy Fowler is one of the seven founding teachers of Francine Delany New School for Children. She taught in second through sixth grades for ten years before becoming the Operations Coordinator at FDNSC. She has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in Education from Western Carolina University. She began her teaching career in 1994 with Asheville City Schools. She has also worked at Western Carolina University as a clinical faculty member teaching math and research methods. Buffy loves spending time with her furry kid, Grayson, who you meet at the school every now and then. She enjoys mapping all of her hikes on the map of the Blue Ridge Parkway!
