Social Justice

As our social justice statement says, Francine Delany New School will “analyze multiple perspectives on historical and contemporary issues.” Recent events have highlighted the fact that there are those in our country whose perspectives include hatred and feelings of superiority toward groups of people based on their race, ethnicity,  and religion. These perspectives are inconsistent with the FDNSC mission to preserve “the inherent worth and dignity of every person.” Fighting for hatred and against hatred are not morally equivalent and FDNSC staff are committed to addressing issues around standing up for fairness in age-appropriate ways at each grade level.
