The Day of Silence is about how the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning) community can feel like they don’t have a voice and have to stay silent. You stay silent the whole day to raise awareness about this, so if you do it you have to be committed. Day of Silence is April 21st. Hope you join in! For more information check out the GLSEN website.
6th Grade is organizing participation in the Day of Silence for the school day on the 21st.
